8 Ways to Wear Tees Without Bra

Putting on a tank top or tee without wearing a bra can feel strange at first. However, if you want to go braless, why shouldn't you? Like many women (myself included), you may feel vulnerable and uncomfortable rocking a braless look. But there are steps you can take to get more comfortable. We're all about to dig it when you pack your…bras? (Dang, I can't even say that without wanting to bust out my air guitar solo). Anyhow, the point is- going braless is undoubtedly one of the most freeing things you can do for yourself. It's empowering to think the world isn't going to fall apart if you leave the house sans underwire- especially when wearing a tee.

1. Go Braless

We hope that these tips help you enjoy the freedom of going braless and feel more confident in doing so. Whether you choose to go braless more often is your personal choice — but it's important to remember that there's no shame in your breasts, and they don't require a bra to look good. Likewise, there is no right time to go braless. But don't be scared — we promise it won't be as uncomfortable as you may think. The only way to figure out when and where it feels most natural is to experiment with it and not fear the outcome. Wearing a cool graphic t-shirt is perhaps a tremendous option - such as this chill t-shirt. It'll become a part of your everyday life, and you'll never even notice (or miss) your bra.

2. With Nipples Pasties

The debut fashion line comes at an exciting time. Of course, numerous celebrities have made headlines for going braless in recent months, and not everyone has gotten a positive response. But this summer has also seen the new company's debut that markets nipple covers. So it's clear that more women are becoming more comfortable going braless and choosing to just cover up instead. A topless woman is always a big deal, even if the reason for it isn't groundbreaking. But now that there's a new fashion line for women who choose to go braless because of comfort or for attention.

3. With a Tank Top

Of course, it's still possible to wear a tight tank top without a bra - but it's not the most comfortable way. However, if you can get away with it and feel good about doing so, then go for it! You don't need permission to bare your breasts in any way you want... This also means that you can't be judged for how you choose to wear your 'boobage.' ⁃If you have a bigger bust, then the best way to hide your bra is with a darker blouse, as it will help disguise the outline and make it harder for people to see.

4. A Top With Built-in Bra

From lingerie staples to any style tops, many women rely on their bras for everyday comfort and support. However, for a whole spectrum of reasons (bigger cup sizes, breastfeeding, shoulders that are too broad for straps, just to name a few), sometimes you don't want to wear one. But, believe it or not, there is actually an option out there for women who want that same kind of easy and comfy feel - a top with built-in bra functionality!

5. Boob Tape

So, essentially boob tape is like double-sided tape, but instead of sticking things together, it separates and shapes instead. It's pretty ingenious, to be honest, so if you require an easy solution to make your chest look better with the clothes you want to wear without a bra. You should definitely try it out next time you are in the market for some new tape. Most women go through life self-conscious about their attire and body image. Often, it's not something that we can totally prevent.

6. Go For Bralettes

Bralettes made me realize how uncomfortable regular bras can be, and I've completely switched to bralettes. I feel like they are a better alternative. They are more comfortable than underwires because everything stays in place even when you don't have a perfect "trapeze line" (the imaginary line that follows the breast shape), and they're way prettier. Bralettes are perfect for fall, too. They don't give you the same cleavage as a regular bra might, and you can wear them with many different outfits!

7. The Fashion Tape

Taping has been a Hollywood trick used for decades to keep clothing in place. However, this solution is temporary at best - eventually, the tape will come off, and your security could be compromised. If you're braless, to begin with, you may wish to try fashion tape. Not only will it keep you from losing your top, but it'll actually help pull your dress in and create a natural shape along your curves. It's an inexpensive, discreet choice for all your strapless events. But fashion tape isn't just for the red carpet - it can also help you feel secure in any dress or top, especially if you're wearing something that needs the support.

8. Work On Your Posture

Eliminating your need for a bra can have tons of benefits, and one of them is the fact that it's really liberating to wear a tee without a bra. By working on your posture, you can get the support you need without a bra and enjoy wearing tops that you previously couldn't. So practice good posture and wear your t-shirts without a bra! The best way to wear a shirt without a bra is to stand tall. Practice your posture, and you won't even have to worry about whether or not your bra will show through with your favorite top.

Conclusion

Wanting to go braless is a personal choice. If you feel more comfortable that way, I encourage you to give it a try. Only you can decide when you're ready, so keep an open mind about the subject and allow yourself to feel empowered by your own choices. Millions of women do it every day, after all. Like many others (myself included), you may feel vulnerable and uncomfortable rocking a braless look. It won't feel natural initially, but there are steps you can take to get more comfortable. If you're reading this, I don't have to tell you that people will stare at your chest– just know that if you don't want that to happen, then it shouldn't.
